  2. “The Newborn” by Terra Bosart
Having recently gone on a binge of everything Ghost in the Shell related, I decided to finish up this week of drawing with a departure from my usual subject matter, signifying a turning point toward more transhuman themed art.

  7. I decided that today was the day I would figure out how to animate a gif using the photoshoppe. Quick to learn, longer to master. It’s only a test, but now that I have gotten the hang of it, I’ll be attempting more tests in the future.

  8. theilluminist:

Novus ordo seclorum (Latin for “New Order of the Ages”).
It is not surprising to see all the hate directed toward the group known as the “Illuminati” and those within the Order. While hate is neither good nor natural to our being, it’s clear and understandable where these misconceptions originate. To those who perpetuate ill regard against us, I would like to pose this inquiry: How many of you have actually come to reason with yourself the nature of the “Illuminati” or the “New World Order”? That is, have truly given the time and unbiased consideration as to what these words, groups and ideas actually mean.
This is not about how much research you’ve done, or how much time you’ve spent “connecting the dots” between occult symbols and which groups they ‘belong’ to — it reaches beyond that. Consider that at the heart of the “truth” about the Illuminati and the NWO (as in “the stuff they don’t want you to know”), may in itself be the biggest deception of all. In the midst of digging for the truth, you bury yourself in the lies.
You are in the middle of a power struggle that reaches toward the beginning of human life as it is known. “Until lions have their own historians, tales of the hunt shall always glorify the hunter.” It is important to remember that it is the victor who writes history. Do you not then suppose that the same ‘victor’ would glorify their cause as well as demonize anyone that opposes it? Be objective: you can find that kind of behaviour ranging from schoolyard arguments, all the way up to global politics.
Hijacking your oppositions’ symbols and/or ideology to represent despicable things is not only smart and capable of fooling the masses, but with enough attention, the *new definitions will become “fact”. IE. The Swastika, used in ancient and indigenous cultures as a symbol for the sun and for balance was hijacked during the Nazi moment, and is still largely associated with Nazism to this day. Even those people who know the truth still would hesitate to display the symbol due to the stigma attached.
It’s true that this world is dying, and we as humans are the cancer that plagues it. “Just look at us. Everything is backwards. Everything is upside-down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information, and religion destroys spirituality.” —-Michael Ellner. Is this the Old World Order that everybody is still so attached to? This is the old world of materialism — by divine law it will be consumed by nature.
This is the intention — to make people think beyond their typical line of thought, to create new patterns and adopt new perspective. There are always two sides, and wrong can appear very much right when large groups of people are involved and reiterating the same information (or disinformation) they’ve all ‘learned’ from one another. Remember that your beliefs are a result of cultural programming and personal experiences — they are malleable, do not be afraid to question them. It will pain the ego to abandon a belief, but in seeking truth, the mind should be clear and unbiased; just as a cup should first be empty to be filled again.
Namaste.

  10. thyrd:

The other day someone expressed that they felt kmfdm is my favorite band. While I have no true ‘favorite’, other than Electric Six, kmfdm holds a special place in my heart. It’s a reminder of the passion of righteous indignation at the utter passivity of status quo living and the seeming inevitability of chaotic change. It’s a reminder of younger years, when I first began feeling a need to make a mark upon the collective consciousness. I began my fantasy novel in the autumn of 2001, make of that what you will. Every time I resume work on it, begin listening to kmfdm, because my characters are constantly trying to make sense of an ever changing world, and find their place. Even in an overly dramatisized narrative revolving around alternate dimension, mythological creatures, twisted science and conspiracy theory, can I find a certain solace in my uncertainty regarding the future of human life upon this planet. I don’t listen to kmfdm literally, I listen for the feelings of raw emotional passion that drive me to continue to follow my dreams in spite of the obstacles I see in my path.
Every scene in any writing project I have, has a corresponding song by KMFDM. If anything, it stands as a testament to the diversity of angsty ridden feelings associated with any creative projects I begin, as my self-prescribed musical therapy and creative explosion started at the same point of my life. Though branching out might be wise, in the long term, as I have yet to finish any of them.

Signal boost. *BAM!* There it goes.

EA Responds To Being Named ‘The Worst Company in America’
In a recent poll on Consumerist.com, it was decided that Electronic Arts was the worst company in America. This is the second year in a row that EA has taken the top prize. In response, EA’s COO Peter Moore has released this statement.

A-hem. While a beautiful display of priorities, this is sadly fake. EA’s actual response: http://www.ea.com/news/we-can-do-better

Well let me tell you, it was quite the pragmatic purchase. It has endless uses in my morning routine.

    Such as making the bed:
